Venus & Mars in the Underworld: "The Love That is Death"

Our innerworld is transforming as we are in the throes of the black womb that reveals the shadows and births the true light.

This is the true love that is death. This is the death of all that is not true.

A season of surrender, grief, truth and rebirth.

On November 12, 2025, Mars crossed the threshold into the underworld.

On November 25, 2025, Venus followed.

Together, they marked the beginning of a rare and potent initiatory passage—a descent that invites nothing less than a shamanic death and rebirth of the masculine and the feminine, within us and in the world.

The underworld is not a place of punishment.

It is a place of truth.

Here, what is false cannot survive. Here, masks fall away. Here, we grieve what has been, so something truer can be born.

This season asks for deep surrender. A letting go of the old world and the false stories that shaped it.

We are individually and collectively releasing ancient fears and inherited programming about what it means to be a man, what it means to be a woman, and what it means to be human at all.

As Venus and Mars journey beneath the surface, we are invited to return to our original blueprints as cosmic humans—beings created not for domination or separation, but for relationship, stewardship, and love.

This is a time of grief.

Grief for the wars and trauma we have internalized.

Grief for the ways the masculine and feminine were split, wounded, and turned against each other.

Grief for a world built on fear, hierarchy, and disconnection from Earth.

But grief is not the end. It is a gateway.

For true union to happen the masculine must descend into his emotional body and the feminine must arise out of the shadows.

The Initiation of the Masculine

In this descent, the masculine within us is called to lay down his egoic armor. To release attachment to accomplishment, control, and external validation. His initiation is not into power over, but into power with.

He is invited to reclaim his deeper strengths:

vulnerability, empathy, presence, and devotion.

Not as weakness—but as true leadership.

This masculine serves life.

He serves his community.

He serves Mother Earth.

He serves the future.

The Initiation of the Feminine

For the feminine, this is a summons to step out of the shadows. To move through the ancestral fears of judgment, persecution, and silencing. The underworld helps strip away the memory of punishment for being seen, heard, and embodied.

The feminine is rising—not above the masculine, but beside him.

Not to dominate, but to co-create.

She remembers her voice.

Her wisdom.

Her authority to stand in truth.

Grieving the Old, Preparing for the New

While Venus remains in the underworld until February 17, and Mars stays until March 14, we are held in a sacred in-between. A liminal space where the old paradigms dissolve and the new are not yet fully formed.

This is not a time to rush.

It is a time to listen.

To feel.

To allow the deeper re-patterning to occur.

As Venus rises first, she carries the codes of reconciliation, worth, and love back into the light. Mars follows, transformed—not as a warrior of conquest, but as a protector of life as sacred.

Together, they signal the possibility of something humanity has long forgotten:

An end to the war within.

And, ultimately, an end to the war without.

From this inner reunion, a new paradigm can be born—

one rooted in love, partnership, and peace on Earth once again.

This is not myth alone.

It is ancient MemOry awakening.
