Virgo Blood Moon Eclipse:"The Power of Descending Shakti"

This Virgo Blood Moon eclipse opens a threshold — not upward, but downward.

Not into the mind. But into the body. Into the deep, ancient chambers of the feminine.

This is our primordial lifeforce that we all carry in our womb center.

This eclipse portal has stirred something profound around safety — especially what it means to feel safe in this world as a woman.

In my own field, I have felt both personal body trauma and the collective feminine pain rising.

The grief. The pain. The fear.

The vigilance. The ancient memories of persecution. The echo of the witch. The silenced priestess.

The women who knew — and were punished for it.

So many of us unknowingly carry the witch/priestess wound in our nervous system.

(I will be sharing another post on this)

It lives in the tissues. In the jaw. In the womb. In the way we hold ourselves back. In the way we rise up into our heads and out of our bodies to survive.

The truth that has come through clearly is this:

The feminine has not felt safe in Western culture. To survive she has had to go into freeze or fawn. And much of her dis-ease speaks of this.

So many women suffer from womb-related conditions — PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, infertility, painful moontime, severe moonpause symptoms.

These are not merely medical diagnoses. They are messages.

The womb is not just an organ. She is the seat of our sacred femininity.

She is the throne within the temple.

And she is calling us home.

The Body as the Gate of Safety

Feeling safe in the body is feeling safe in the world.

Feeling safe in the world is feeling safe in the body.

Feeling unsafe in the world often creates a subtle upward movement — we live in the head, in productivity, in strategy, in overthinking.

We disconnect from the lower body where instinct, sensuality, and primal power reside.

This is also deeply connected to the money wound, that many women carry.

When we feel unsafe, we grasp. We strive. We overwork. We leave the body to secure survival.

But this Bloodmoon whispers something different:

Descend.

Descending Shakti — the primordial life force — means allowing her to move down through the body, into the pelvis, into the womb, into the legs, into the Earth.

Men are called to descend too.

This is not collapse. This is reclamation.

Descending into Earth, Descending into Power.

To descend into the womb is to descend into the Earth.

The womb is connected to the living grid of the planet — the ancient ley lines, sometimes called dragon lines.

The currents of lifeforce itself. We are not separate from these currents.

We are Earth in human form.

Descending Shakti awakens our feminine power — our true mojo — not the performative power shaped by patriarchy, but the deep magnetic power that arises from safety, embodiment, and rootedness.

We descend through:

  • Embodiment practices

  • Breath, sound and voice

  • Slow, sensual movement

  • Touch and self-devotion

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Wombhealing

  • Moon blood rituals (see previous post)

  • Reconnecting with the womb of the Earth and her cycles

Each daily act of returning to the body is an act of resistance. Each breath into the womb is a prayer of remembrance.

Virgo Medicine.

Virgo is the highpriestess that teaches devotion to the body. Sacred tending. Listening to bodily symptoms as sacred language.

This Blood Moon eclipse is not asking us to rise above.

She is asking us to rise up rooted.

She is asking us to go down. Down into the pelvis. Down into the dark fertile soil.

Down into the place where safety is not granted by the world — but generated from within.

When Shakti descends, she roots. When she roots, she stabilizes. When she stabilizes, she awakens.

We are not meant to hover above our lives.

We are meant to inhabit them.

We are meant to be here. In the body.

On the Earth. Safe enough to feel.

And from that safety — our feminine power returns.

When our feminine power returns she ressurects the sacred masculine.

She brings down Yahshua from the cross and anoints him into his rightful Kingship.

If this BloodMoon eclipse is stirring something deep in you —if you can feel the call to descend, to root, to come home to your womb and body — you do not have to walk that path alone.

This is the work I hold space for.

Spaces where the nervous system can soften.

Where the witch-priestess wound can be witnessed gently.

Where the womb awakens and unfolds like the rose.

Here Shakti is not forced upward into performance — but guided downward into safety, sensuality, and embodied power.

If your body is asking for support…If your womb is whispering…If you are ready to descend instead of striving —

I would be honored to walk beside you.

See what I offer here or reach out if you feel the resonance.

Your body will know.

Ahavah,

with love

Akkirah Rose
